Roadworks
Roadworks expanded the possibilities of an earlier project - Adsite - by commissioning a series of audio-visual installations in Central London bus stops. Each bus stop was transformed for a month from a humble shelter into a playful and surreal experience. Roadworks is one of a series of projects by FAT that explore relationships between art and the everyday and between private experience and public space. The opening night of the exhibition was a bus journey stopping off at each shelter.
