Lindsay Road is a proposed development of 35 new homes for sale on the former Deerlands School site in Parson?��s Cross, Sheffield. The architecturally distinguished new development is commissioned by Great Places, a well-established housing association. The scheme organises the houses as a series of terraces arranged around a large public garden. Planting, variations in paving texture and colour and other elements mediate between the houses and the park to form a pedestrian orientated homezone. The design is aiming to achieve the ambitious targets of: Eco-Homes Very Good rating, 10% of energy supplied by renewable sources and CABE Design for Life Silver standard. The scheme is due to be submitted for planning shortly.
